A RESTAURANT AND A BAKERY ON THE RIGHT RIVER BANK OF THE VLTAVA.

The U Kalendů pub has stood on the site of the defunct Podskalí swimming community since the beginning of the last century.

Life here was always linked to the river. Timber used to float down the river and fried loaches were sold here – supposedly the best in Prague. Come and taste ours.
We have a kitchen break between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM. We accept dinner orders until 9:30 PM.

Bringing the kitchen and the bakery together

We blur the lines between the kitchen and the bakery - one merging with the other. Cooks process yesterday's bread, bakers borrow hard to come by ingredients. Stop by the bakery for a crusty loaf and sweet pastry.
